However, the cost of our mould treatment and prevention services greatly depends on the amount of labour involved and the methodology best suited to your individual mould problem. This is why we recommend getting an assessment and detailed quote before contracting our mould treatment and prevention service.
Assessment
The professional assessment will allow us to investigate the extent of the mould infestation, possible underlying causes, any structural damage and, if you choose, we can take viable samples for laboratory testing. At this point we provide you with an estimate of the total price for your mould remediation package. There are no hidden charges.
There is a fee of €30.00 for an investigative assessment by one of our mold treatment and prevention professionals.
Mould Sample Analysis
Some moulds, their spores and the mycotoxins produced by active mould have harmful effects on people's health (see our faq page). In such cases we recommend that a mould sample is taken for laboratory analysis. The lab report provides a detailed analysis of the mould species present . It also highlights which of these species are damaging to human health. This information is invaluable for your own understanding of what you and your family are breathing in your living environment. If there have been any family health issues that may be mould associated, you should consult your GP and take the lab report with you.
